Youth Faith Formation, Grades Pre-K through 12

Pre-K Sessions
Our Pre-K program is in it's second year, and we are hopeful that it will continue to grow and develop.  It is a program where the parent stays with their child and is able to bring along any other younger siblings as well.  Each session includes a lesson and activity or craft, followed by free play.  There is no tuition for this program, but we do ask that parents register in order for us to plan properly.  Sessions will be held twice a month on Wednesdays from 1:00-2:00 pm.

Grades K - 6  Faith Formation Classes
“Let the children come to me.” Our program builds on early faith lessons learned in the home. It strengthens young hearts to hear and follow God’s voice, develops prayer and understanding through a scriptural approach to Catholic teaching, and offers tools for building healthy relationships with God and others.  It’s an environment to learn with peers and grow in their faith!

K-6  Mondays from 6:30 - 7:45 pm at Holy Family or Brunswick Elementary
         1st class

K-6  Tuesdays from 4:30 - 5:45 pm at Holy Family

Grades 7 - 8  Faith Formation Sessions
The middle school program further develops young disciples to understand and live out their faith. In a new format more akin to our high school youth group, we will be using the Edge program to help them deepen their relationship with Jesus. This allows them to meet in a large group and then in small groups for more in depth discussion.

Sessions will be held twice a month at Holy Family on Sundays from 12:15-2:00 pm.

Grades 9 - 12  Total Youth Ministry Sessions
In TYM, teens encounter Jesus through a life of faith. Using Life Teen as a resource, each session breaks open a part of our faith in a large group setting and then divides into small groups for more in depth discussion and faith sharing. And of course we have food!

Sessions will be held on Sunday evenings twice a month from 6:30-8:30 pm

Peer Ministry - for those already Confirmed
Peer Ministry is a leadership program for teens who have experienced Jesus’ love in their own formation that deepens their faith and prepares them to share it with their peers. It is an opportunity for continual formation and to be active disciples among their peers.  They help the youth minister with TYM, Confirmation prep, and other events.

Meetings are held at least once per month.

Catholic School children
Children attending Catholic schools are welcome to attend any of our classes or sessions free of charge.  We encourage you to contact us to let us know that your children are attending so we can ensure that you are included in any correspondence relating to events. Children attending Catholic schools are only required to attend the classes or meetings that are held for the preparation of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation.
